Technical Techfoam foam is manufactured combining a variety of physical and chemical properties to obtain appropriate parameters. Techfoam foam plates are used for cutting various types of fittings and profiles designed to protect the packaged product from damage during the transport or storage.
The technical plates are formed in the process of the thermal bonding of polyethylene foam sheets of a specified, uniform density. Interest has been growing dynamically in surface-laminated panels which have a thin layer of foam of a significantly higher density than the main plate. A polyethylene plate, composed in this manner, gives the effect of a moving buckle connecting fittings cut out of the plate, which in many cases greatly simplifies and speeds up the process of providing air-tight and secure packaging for the product.
The most important features of polyethylene Techfoam plates:
- 100% recyclable
- protect against shocks
- do not leave scratches on the surface of the protected object
- odourless
- flexible
- non-dusty
- resistant to compression
- an alternative for polystyrene and polyurethane
